What other factors are part of your auction selection process?
SRS has formed an alliance with Remarketing by Element, one of the largest wholesale sellers of vehicles in the country, and created a seamless flow of inventory between our systems. SRS is able to take advantage of negotiated competitive National agreements with Manheim and ADESA as well as the larger independents. Lane placement is critical when selling your asset for the highest dollar. Our combined volume allows us excellent lane placement. Our client partners are also able to take advantage of our volume discounts for sale fees and all ongoing national advertising and promotions by Element and SRS.
How does your title process work?
SRS can assist in obtaining a repossession title, duplicate title, mileage corrections, lien perfections, or any other titling needs. SRS works closely with the auctions, title service companies and DMV’s to quickly process your title into a saleable document allowing you to quickly sell your vehicle.
How do I consign my titled assets to SRS?
SRS’s secure website will allow you to consign inventory for any combination of the following services: repossession, titling or remarketing. The information provided is fed directly into our host system in “real-time” allowing our experienced associates to immediately begin working the account as an extension of your staff.
How do you select your Repossession Contractors?
Selection of the right repossession contractor is critical. SRS performs due diligence on each contracted agency which includes bond and insurance requirements, referral calls and association memberships. Performance is continuously monitored and rated in the areas of days to recover, expense and service. In an industry where the turnover of repossession agents can be high, it is extremely critical to manage your vendor partners. Through relationships with carefully selected agencies nationwide SRS is continuously rating performance to ensure the best contractors are being selected.
How do you manage our vehicles?
SRS has developed its own vehicle management system that is integrated with national recovery and auction systems to provide real time status at any point of the process. It is a stable, robust system which allows us to communicate with our customers, recovery agents and auctions in real-time which is critical to the process of repossessing, titling or selling your vehicles quickly. We are proud of our system and believe the flexibility of the design separates us from others and allows us to better meet your needs.
How are servicing fees calculated?
SRS’s fees are calculated on a flat fee basis for repossession, title work and remarketing. In the rare instances where exception fees may be required, SRS will always request approval prior to moving forward. Our volume allows us to pass on to you our national negotiated auction and repossession expenses. We feel strongly that the flat fee structure allows us to be competitive, consistent, and flexible when selecting our auctions and repossession agencies. We are consistently managing the relationships and monitoring results in the areas of cost and timeliness.
How does SRS report repossession/remarketing results to the client?
The SRS “Advantage One” inventory management system allows our clients to follow a vehicle's progress from the time of consignment to sale and all steps in between. Clients are able to view account performance at a glance via the dashboard of all segments and may also download reports into Excel if desired. Depending on size and client preference, mid-year or year-end account reviews will be scheduled.
